Documents That Never Drift: Templates, PDFs and a Brand Kit

Most AI document tools generate a document. That is the wrong job. A client’s proposal, your letterhead and your pitch deck already have a design. Your task is to fill the design, not replace it.

The file is the layout

An uploaded Word or PowerPoint file sets the page, fonts, sizes, colours and structure. Cognition7 only swaps the content in. Nothing is restyled by code, so the layout cannot drift between the first document and the fiftieth.

PDFs, handled two ways

• Fillable forms: the fields are filled in place and flattened. Every value is read back before release.
• Letterheads: your PDF stays as the page background. You mark the writing area once, and each letter is written onto your original page. Long letters continue on further pages with the same letterhead.

One limit, stated plainly: letter text on a PDF letterhead uses a standard font. If you need your own brand typeface in the body, upload the Word version.

Fifty fields, a handful of questions

A pitch deck can have 50 content slots. You are not asked to fill them. The system writes headlines, summaries and steps from your session and uses your saved details for your name, company and contact information. It asks only for what a session cannot know: names, prices and references. In our own test, one deck needed a client name, three prices and a testimonial it refused to invent.

Held back, not guessed

If a name or a price is missing, the document is held until you supply it. A testimonial is never invented. A blank price never reaches a client.

Brand kit

Set three colours once: primary, secondary and tertiary. The standard Cognition7 templates then use them for covers, titles, rules and highlights, and you can change them for a single document when you generate it. Templates you upload keep the exact colours they were designed with. A primary colour too light for white titles is refused, because the cover would be unreadable.
