From Meeting to Task to Sprint: Delivery That Tracks Itself
Actions extracted from a session become tasks with owners and dates. Roll them into projects and sprints and the percent complete takes care of itself.
The decision is not where meetings fail. The follow-through is. Nobody records who does what by when, so three weeks later nobody knows what happened.
Actions come out of the session
Actions mentioned in a recording are extracted as tasks. You can also add them by hand. Each task can have a responsible person, an estimate, dates, subtasks and dependencies, and can be linked to a CRM deal.
Projects that report their own progress
A project’s percent complete is rolled up from its tasks, weighted by their estimated hours, the way a summary task works in a project plan. Subtasks roll up into their parent. You do not type a percentage. You finish work.
Sprints of any length
Plan in one-day, one-week or two-week sprints. The Scrum view shows the board, the burndown and your team’s velocity, and a retrospective board turns what you keep, change or stop into new tasks.
Connected to the money
When a deal is won, you can start a delivery project from it, or link it to an existing one. Sales and delivery then share one record of the work.
Automation, where it is safe
Rules create a task when an event happens, for example a new lead or a booking, with an assignee and a due date. The rule creates the task. A person still does the work.
